December 2025 - The Last Illumination of the Year
As we arrive at the final full moon of the year, we stand inside a rare intersection:
The closing of both a lunar cycle and a nine-year numerological cycle.
This is not just an ending, it's a culmination.
A moment where everything we have been carrying, questioning, healing, resisting, or protecting is gently (or not so gently) pushed into the light.
Full moons always illuminate.
But this one clarifies.
It clarifies the patterns we’ve outgrown, the identities we’ve been quietly shedding, the stories we can no longer pretend belong to us. It clarifies the places where we’ve betrayed our own intuition for the sake of comfort or belonging. And it clarifies the small but persistent voice inside that has been whispering:
You are meant for more.
This final moon is not asking us to do anything dramatic. It’s asking us to notice.
To notice where we’ve been living by outdated beliefs that limit our expansion. To notice the behaviours we use to negotiate with our own worthiness. To notice the relationships, habits, or internal narratives that drain our life-force instead of nourishing it.
This moon pulls underlying patterns to the surface to free us of them. Patterns that kept situations feeling confusing. Patterns that kept us looping in the old dynamics. Patterns that kept us bracing and withholding instead of trusting. Patterns that kept us small when our soul has been asking for expansion.
This illumination is your invitation to step into coherence. Where your inner truth, outer choices, and deeper purpose begin to align again. And in the background of all this lunar energy, we are simultaneously closing the door on a Year 9: a year of completion, release, shedding, severing, surrender, and clearing karmic residue.
A Year 9 often feels like tectonic plates shifting beneath the surface; slow, disorienting, but deeply transformative. They unearth what we’ve avoided so we don’t drag it forward with us. That is the gift of closure: the permission it gives us to move differently.
As we walk toward a Year 1, we enter the threshold of beginnings. New cycles. New identities. New levels of trust in ourselves. It’s the year where the seeds you’ve been quietly cultivating finally take root. Where intention becomes direction, and direction becomes destiny.
But first, this moon asks for stillness, honesty, and a willingness to release the version of yourself that was built for survival. So take a moment with this moon and ask yourself what this year has been preparing you for.
Ask what needs to be resolved, internally or externally, for you to step into your next chapter unburdened. Ask what truth you’ve been avoiding because you knew it would require change. And ask what you’re finally ready to choose.
Let this full moon be a clearing. Let Year 9 close with reverence. Let Year 1 open with intention.
This is the end of a chapter, yes, but it is also the threshold of a life your soul has been quietly leading you toward all along.
With love,
Zofia
